Select, move, and delete points/segments in the pattern.📦Added in 2024 v2.0

1. Show the 2D Toolbar:

   • Click on the 2D Editor window.

   • The toolbar switches to the 2D Toolbar.

2. Select the Edit Tool:

   • Click the Edit Tool in the toolbar.

3. Perform Actions on Points/Segments:

   1. Select: Click a point or segment.

   2. Move: Click and drag the selected point or segment.

      • Smart Guide📦Added in 2025 v2.1

        • Points and lines can snap to the smart guide when moved.

        • Hold the Ctrl key while clicking and dragging to temporarily disable the smart guide.

   3. Delete:

      • Click to select the point or segment.

      • Right-click and select Delete from the pop-up menu, or press Del or Backspace on your keyboard.

Transform

Select, move, scale, and rotate pattern shapes.📦Added in 2024 v2.0

1. Open the 2D Editor:

2. Select the Transform Tool:

   • Click the Transform Tool in the toolbar.

3. Perform Actions on Shapes

   • Select: Click a shape.

   • Move: Click and drag the shape.

       • A pattern or internal shape can snap to the smart guide when moved.

       • Hold the Ctrl key while clicking and dragging to temporarily disable the smart guide.

   • Scale/Rotate: Use the transform handles to resize or rotate the shape.

   • Delete:

     • Click to select the shape.

     • Right-click and select Delete from the pop-up menu, or press Del or Backspace on your keyboard.

Clone as Pattern / Internal Shape

Convert a pattern to an internal shape or vice versa.📦Added in 2025 v 2.1

1. Select one of the following tools:

   • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Edit

   • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Transform

2. Right-click on one of the following shapes:

   • Pattern → The right-click popup displays the Clone as Internal Shape menu.

   • Internal Shape → The right-click popup displays the Clone as Pattern menu.

3. In the popup, click one of the following menus:

   • Clone as Internal Shape → Converts a Pattern into an Internal Shape.

   • Clone as Pattern → Converts an Internal Shape into a Pattern.

Convert to Hole / Internal Shape

Convert an internal shape to a hole or vice versa. 📦Added in 2024 v2.0

1. Select one of the following tools:

   • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Edit

   • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Transform

2. Right-click on one of the following shapes:

   • Internal Shape → The right-click popup displays the Convert to Hole menu.

   • Hole → The right-click popup displays the Convert to Internal Shape menu.

3. In the popup, click one of the following menus:

   • Convert to Hole → Converts an Internal Shape to a Hole.

   • Convert to Internal Shape → Converts a Hole to an Internal Shape
