Generate 2D patterns using UV information from a glTF file.

Generate 2D patterns using the UV information from a 3D mesh file.

  1. Navigate to the following menu:

    • File > Import
→ The file import dialog appears.

  2. Select one of the following file formats

    • glTF

    • glb

      • 📌Note: In version 2.1, this feature supports only glTF and glb formats.

  3. Click Open in the dialog.

  4. Set the option.

    • Object:

      • Model: A static mesh that collides with the vertices of the pattern mesh.

      • Garment (Simulated): The mesh is imported only into the 3D viewport, and its vertices are simulated.

      • 2D Pattern from UV (Simulated): A simulation-ready 2D pattern is generated based on UV information.

  5. Click Okay in the dialog.

→ The 3D mesh is imported based on the selected options.
