Added useful features to make 2D pattern editing easier and more flexible.

Undo/Redo

Undo and redo all processes of creating, editing, and sewing patterns in the 2D Editor.


Hermite Curve

Add multiple curve points within a single segment to create a smooth, flowing curve.

Creation

Hermite curves can only be created on 2D patterns generated through File > Import > UV to 2D Pattern.

Editing
  1. Select the following tool:

    • 2D Editor – Edit Tool

  2. Select a segment that contains a Hermite curve → The Hermite curve points will appear.

  3. Perform the following actions:

    • Select: Click on a Hermite curve point.

    • Move: Click and drag a Hermite curve point.

    • Delete: Right-click on a Hermite curve point and select Delete from the context menu, or select the point and press the Delete key on your keyboard.

    • Convert to Split Point: Right-click on a Hermite curve point and select Convert to Split Point from the context menu.


Smart Guide

  • Pattern and internal shape elements can snap to the smart guide when moved.

  • Hold the Ctrl key while clicking and dragging to temporarily disable the smart guide.


Clone as Pattern / Internal Shape

Convert a pattern to an internal shape or vice versa.

  1. Select one of the following tools:

    • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Edit

    • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Transform

  2. Right-click on one of the following shapes:

    • Pattern → The right-click popup displays the Clone as Internal Shape menu.

    • Internal Shape → The right-click popup displays the Clone as Pattern menu.

  3. In the popup, click one of the following menus:

    • Clone as Internal Shape → Converts a Pattern into an Internal Shape.

    • Clone as Pattern → Converts an Internal Shape into a Pattern.


Pattern Segment Length

Show the length of pattern segments in the 2D Editor.

  1. Select the tool from:

    • 2D Editor > Toolbar > Edit

  2. Click on a segment of the pattern or an internal shape.

    → The segment will be selected, and its length will be displayed.


2D Pattern Point Marker

Displays a point on the 2D pattern at the clicked location on the 3D pattern.

  1. Select one of the following tools:

    • 3D Viewport > Toolbar > Select

    • 3D Viewport > Toolbar > Translate

    • 3D Viewport > Toolbar > Rotate

    • 3D Viewport > Toolbar > Scale

  2. Click on the 3D pattern.

  3. View the corresponding 2D pattern in the 2D Editor.

    → A point appears at the corresponding location on the 2D pattern.
